Oakland Hills Acupuncture is hiring for a massage therapist job in Oakland at our integrative, healing-focused clinic.
We specialize in treating Workers’ Compensation and private pay patients, and we’re looking for a therapist with a compassionate mindset and professional presence. This is an excellent opportunity for someone interested in deep tissue, sports massage, or myofascial therapy—training provided. You’ll be part of a calm, professional clinic where massage and acupuncture work together to support healing.
We’re currently looking for someone with at least 8 hours or more of weekly availability on a consistent schedule. Patients are typically scheduled in 1-hour blocks. We currently experience the highest demand on Saturdays, Monday evenings, Wednesday afternoons/evenings, and Friday afternoons.
Requirements
- Licensed massage therapist in California
- Current professional and general liability insurance
(Minimum $2 million per occurrence / $6 million aggregate) - Excellent draping skills
- Comfortable checking your schedule online and staying organized
- Able to complete basic charting within 24 hours of treatment
– Training provided - Interest in or experience with deep tissue, sports massage, or myofascial therapy
– Some training available - Bilingual a plus (Spanish, Mandarin, or Cantonese helpful but not required)
